FAQ - HOW TO PUT YOU "ON THE MAP"
1. What is needed to initiate a map project with EPM?a. Provide EPM with a current site plan and topographic map for evaluation. This data allows EPM to ascertain the difficulty of the project. For example, the number of structures and their complexity, bridges, terrain - hilly or flat. A copy of the current map being used may also be helpful.

a. EPM will first analyze the data you provide.b. A cost factor is determined depending on the following factors:
3. What is the work schedule for completion of a map?1. Total acreage to be mapped.c. Since each map project is totally unique, cost factors can vary from $350 for a single structure to $75,000 for an extremely complex map involving thousands of acres and hundreds of structures.

4. Terrain (hilly or flat).
5. Complexity of peripheral environment such as freeways, streets and other adjacent landmarks.d. EPM will present you with a no obligation written proposal and cost quote within ten working days following the receipt of the data mentioned above. Upon acceptance of the written proposal by both parties, the project can proceed.
a. Completion time varies from four weeks for a simple drawing to ten months for a detailed, complex map.4. Will EPM maps be compatible with my current desktop publishing program?a. The vector files containing the final artwork can be custom tailored to your specific needs. Your vector drawing will be suitable for high quality printing.5. What about revisions or updates to our map?a. A revision service is part of any project completed by EPM. Changes can and will occur, and EPM will be there to keep your map completely accurate. An extended service plan is available guaranteeing a viable map for decades to come. Costs for updating maps are kept to a minimum ranging from $45.00 for adding a simple house to $500.00 for adding a complex major structure.6. Who owns the map upon its completion by EPM?a. Each completed map is solely owned by the customer. No copyright will ever be sought by EPM. This allows you total freedom to print, publish, and present your map any way you choose. Uses are only limited by your imagination. We can even supply you with some ideas on how to get the most from your new asset.7. Does EPM provide printing and publishing services?a. EPM can provide you with a finished brochure containing our map artwork and other text. Simply provide us with your specifications and we will submit a competitive bid. Remember, you own the map artwork.![]()
